There was a marked increase in the number of visitors at A-OSH Expo 2015. With 28% more people attending the exhibition, the stage is set for Africa’s leading occupational health and safety exhibition to bring the latest products and services to a discerning audience of industry professionals who will attend the 2016 event. A-OSH Expo 2016 is scheduled to take place between 24 and 26 May 2016 at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg.

“We introduced two new features this year: the Business Matchmaking Programme, an initiative that matched visitors up with the most relevant exhibitors and the ‘Fire Hazard Identification Challenge’ which was based on a simulated office environment with six to eight fire hazards that had to be identified by participants. FPASA also, for the first time, ran its InFIRes conference alongside A-OSH Expo. This is a CPD accredited event, aimed at technical insurance people,” says Joshua Low, Event Director at Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery.

“The conference was a great success, attracting over 100 people from some of the leading insurance companies in South Africa. Based on the success of these events, FPASA has agreed to once again host the 2016 conference alongside A-OSH Expo 2016,” adds Low.

The educational programme at A-OSH Expo was lauded by visitors as amongst the best in the market and the organisers will leverage the success of the free-to-attend NOSHEBO Theatre seminar and the PASMA Working at Height Theatre in 2016, with industry-riveting content on trends, legislation and best practise. The ever-popular SAIOSH conference will once again feature strongly and visitors are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. The 2015 SAIOSH conference attracted over 200 top SHE decision makers.

With over 49% of stand space already booked, prospective exhibitors are encouraged to contact Marlene Bosch or Sven Riddle on +27 10 003 3064 or +27 10 003 3077 or email marleneb@specialised.com or svenr@specialised.com. For more information on A-OSH Expo 2016, visit the website at www.aosh.co.za.
