Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 16(4) (b) of the *Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002 (Act 28 of 2002) (*MPRDA).

Location: Part of Portion 6 of the farm Elandsfontyn 349, located approximately 16km west of Hopefield.
Description of the proposed activities:
• Application for a mining right to the Department of Minerals Resources (DMR) to mine for Silica Sand
• Preparation of an Environmental Management Plan
