Green Water Supply For Emerging Communities In Africa

There is a shortage of water in Africa and going forward we need Green and Sustainable Solutions for reducing the shortage. Of all the water on Earth, just 2.5% is fresh water, and most of that is locked up in ice (70%) or deep underground (29%). Rivers and dams hold only a tiny fraction (<1%)-but it’s this water that farming, industry, human beings and life on planet earth deepend on. Without water survival is not possible.  Over 1 billion people do not have access to clean, safe drinking water,  3.4 million people die each year from scarce and contaminated water sources.  Millions of women and children spend several hours each day collecting water from distant and polluted sources in Africa.

Climate models predict that the Continent will receive less rain and experience higher temperatures in the future. Almost half the world’s population will face severe water scarcity by 2030 without urgent action. We need to be proactive and look at establishing Green Water Stations as a form of Water Security as per below video:
